Open Thesis, Seminar and Project Topics

Based on my research interest, I provide a wide variety of thesis topics. In particular:

  • Clustering and analyzing user behavior models
    • Measuring distance of graphs based on structure and attributes to cluster and classify user behavior
    • Detection when a new behavior starts or other means of grouping behavior

  • OceanDSL
    • Handling compilation, setup and deployment of ocean models
    • Integrate model setup and control in Jupyter (web service)
    • Extend Jupyter using Language Server Protocol (LSP)
    • Understand dependencies and dependency management in Jupyter

 

PhD Topic

My dissertation provides methods, techniques and approaches to modularize code and model generators for domain-specific languages (DSLs) including and specifically addressing view-based and aspect-oriented DSL and metamodels. The tooling developed in this dissertation makes use of EMF, Xtext, and other Eclipse technology, but addresses any kind of target language for these DSLs.
